FAQs:

WHAT DO YOU WRITE ABOUT?

I write puppy stories for young children, (referred to as picture books by publishers), written with the purpose of exemplifying the Golden Rule.   My puppy stories are based on true stories.   Honey, the large dog in the photo of our canine buddies, is the inspiration for writing puppy stories.

WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR PUPPY STORIES?

When my first puppy story is published, you will be the first to know – stay tuned!

WHY DID YOU BECOME A WRITER?

It’s my calling.  I believe we are all born with a specific purpose, a natural ability we can fine-tune and use for good.   I love to write stories, both non-fiction and fiction, that offer readers hope, encouragement, and inspiration.

WHEN DID YOU BEGIN TO WRITE?

From a young age - it's always been my go-to for expressing joy, sorrow, and everything in between.  Around the age of nine, I wrote my fist short story about our dog, Chico; it was more of an epitaph, for he was hit and killed by a car during his last adventure of bolting  out of the house to run about town.

WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE AUTHORS?

Too numerous to list, but the ones that come to mind at the moment:  Joy Budensiek; Beatrix Potter; E.B. White; Jan and Stan Berenstain; Mark Twain; Charles Dickens; Jane Austen; C.S. Lewis; J.R.R. Tolkien; Eric Metaxas; Ann Voskamp.

Please, do not ever ask me what my favorite color is!
